Description
The HPE Revenue Senior Analyst will provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, reporting into the Revenue Accounting Manager.
This role will have responsibility for Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Revenue Accounting and will partner with business unit finance teams, corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A), tax and others as necessary to provide Revenue accounting analysis and support on transactions and accounting issues.
The analyst will communicate and drive adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide significant contribution to the Revenue accounting function
- Partner with business unit finance teams, corporate FP&A, tax and others
- Analyze new accounting and disclosure requirements
- Interpret U.S. GAAP accounting standards and SEC guidance
- Communicate and drive adherence to GAAP and accounting policies
- Prepare materials for Executive Leadership
- Lead process improvement and policy development initiatives
- Facilitate trainings on relevant accounting topics
- Support ad hoc reporting requests
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting, finance, business
- 5+ years of experience in a finance function
- Big four public accounting experience is a plus
