We are seeking a passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Wingham Court Care Home in Claygate. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent dining experience for our residents.
Job Summary: As a member of our Kitchen Team, you will act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents. You will assist the chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and ensuring all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy. You will also monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures, and follow all mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents

- Assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
Requirements:
- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with others
