Job Overview
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be a versatile and indispensable part of our daily warehouse operations. You will actively support the entire material flow within the warehouse, from internal transport tasks to conducting inventories.
Responsibilities
- Conduct internal transports between the warehouse, production, and adjacent areas
- Operate floor conveyors such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and reliably
- Load and unload means of transport, ensuring timely material supply while adhering to all safety rules
- Actively participate in annual, special, and perpetual inventories, counting, recording, and documenting warehouse stocks
- Flexibly support inbound and outbound areas as well as adjacent warehouse areas
- Perform general warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading goods to designated storage locations, assisting with packaging and order picking tasks
Requirements
- Initial practical experience in warehousing or logistics
- Basic knowledge of using scanners and handheld devices (desirable)
- Valid forklift license (advantageous)
- Excellent German language skills in writing and speaking
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
