As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.
You'll be part of a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction, offering a Partner-led service that's unmatched by competitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Replenishing stock to maintain fully stocked shelves and ensuring products are in the correct location
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery
- Minimizing waste by monitoring product expiration dates and applying markdowns as needed
- Supporting the wider shop team during peak periods, including checkout assistance and managing Click & Collect orders
- Maintaining a clean and organized working environment
The role requires excellent communication skills to effectively work with the team and customers.
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Knowledge of food and drink trends
- Flexibility to support the entire branch
In terms of compensation, you'll earn £13.00 per hour, increasing to £13.25 after 90 days. Additionally, any hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00 will attract a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour.
The role is temporary, with varied hours of part-time work (30 hours) across seven nights, including weekends, between 21:00 and 07:00.
