This is a part-time position in home infusion; required hours will fluctuate between 20-25 hours per week. We offer flexible hours with some early evenings and some weekend availability required. You will see patients in Maryland but could see a patient in Virginia on occasion.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), Home Infusion, you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes
- Making a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist patients recover in the comfort of their own home
- Providing one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment
- Challenging your clinical nursing (RN) skills by receiving continuous training on leading-edge technology and clinical requirements in specialty infusion
- Having excellent written and verbal customer service skills in order to interact with the patient, physician, pharmacist and other partners
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with compact licensure in the state of MD
- Minimum one year nursing experience with a minimum of one year infusion/IV experience
- Current CPR certification
- Valid and current driver's license and auto insurance
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word to document and track patient care activity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Home healthcare experience a plus
- CRNI certification a plus
Education:
- RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
The typical pay range for this role is $32.01 - $68.55 per hour.
