Description
WSP is looking for a Digital Infrastructure Design Lead Engineer to join their Intelligent Infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will lead the technical coordination across multi-disciplinary designs, provide client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure design, and collaborate with the team to share ideas and address gaps.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical teams in delivering designs or schemes
- Collaborating with colleagues from other engineering disciplines
- Carrying out design processes, including the use of design tools
- Providing client-facing technical advice on roadside infrastructure design
- Mentoring and developing junior staff
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or relevant experience in technology design
- Working towards professional registration or professionally registered with an accredited institute
- Domain knowledge in a relevant industry, such as power, communications, electrical, electronics, or highway design
- Understanding of roadside infrastructure and design standards
- Chartered Engineer status
