Job Overview You'll work in a fast-paced environment, using your skills and talents to serve and care for our patients and customers. Your duties will include managing pharmacy workstations and tasks, ensuring medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met, and providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Concentrate on tasks over a period of time without distraction
- Provide excellent customer service, actively looking for ways to help people in a friendly manner
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues using verbal and written communication
- Use mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
- Resolve problems by judging when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and choosing the best course of action
Physical Demands
- Remain upright on feet for sustained periods
- Move about on foot to accomplish tasks
- Pick, pinch, type, or work primarily with fingers
- Extend hands and arms in any direction
- Bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
- Stoop to a considerable degree, requiring full use of lower extremities and back muscles
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
