We are seeking experienced Corporate Lawyers to join our team in Jakarta. As a Corporate Lawyer at Hogan Lovells Cadwalader, you will be part of a global, collaborative team of professionals. Our Corporate and Finance practice group covers the full range of corporate/M&A work, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings, and complex commercial arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess good working knowledge and understanding of the legal principles associated with corporate/M&A work; proactively develop this knowledge further.
- Show awareness of legal developments affecting specialist areas and regularly attend appropriate training sessions.
- Motivated, reliable, and flexible, with strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, with the ability to work effectively with others in a team.
- Understand the industry and market in which clients operate, demonstrating commercial awareness and a good understanding of clients' business goals.
Person Specification
- Experience gained within a top-tier firm in this space is preferred.
- Strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills.
- Outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team.
