Description
We are looking for a Lead SRE Engineer to join our Trade Entitlements team in Berlin.
The Trade Entitlements system is a central control function for all aspects of trading, handling millions of requests per day with low latency requirements.
As the lead SRE Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering tools and processes to improve quality, scalability, and resiliency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new functionality on Java and optionally Kotlin
- Work with the business and BAs on functional and non-functional requirements
- Co-work with the QA Team on test automation of new and existing functionalities
- Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements
- Design and implement subsystems and intersystems protocols
Requirements:
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity
- Extensive and excellent knowledge of Java and Kotlin
- Proficiency in high-load distributed systems design
- Good knowledge of algorithms, complexity, data structures
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of modern Cloud technologies
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Experience with modern SDLC tools
