Description
We are seeking a skilled freelance translator to join our global community of linguists, specifically for translations from English into Chichewa. As a freelance translator with IQVIA's Translation Services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality content to our target languages and markets efficiently and effectively.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Native fluency in Chichewa (spoken and written)
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- At least 1 year of experience in translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents (document types must be clearly outlined in your CV)
- A university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 2 years of translation experience, or no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
- Ability to work according to tight deadlines and independently
- Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools is essential
- Prior experience as a translator with a translation and localisation company is desirable but not required
