Behavioral Health Support Specialist

Position Summary This is a fully remote position that can be worked from anywhere in the U.S. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in their time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support and service to behavioral health clinical teams to facilitate delivery of quality care and improve program efficiency.
• Outreach to members to educate them about available specialty programs and solicit their participation.
• Assist members in locating services and facilitate follow-up calls.
• Collect information on patient progress and adherence to treatment plans.
• Provide information to members regarding mental health and substance abuse benefits, community treatment resources, and Aetna policies and procedures.
• Work closely with clinicians to ensure healthy outcomes for members.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties such as provider/community resource searches, handling Transition of Care requests, and executing letters of agreement with non-par providers.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Behavioral Health care experience.
• 1+ year of Customer Service experience.
• Proficiency with computer skills, including navigating multiple systems and keyboarding.
• Required to use wired residential broadband service with internet speeds of at least 25 mbps/3mbps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual, preferably in Spanish but open to any language.
• Previous Managed Care experience.
• Psychology or Social Services experience.

Education

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Anticipated Weekly Hours

• 40 hours per week.

Time Type

• Full-time.

Pay Range

• $21.10 - $40.90 per hour.
