WSP is currently seeking a Vice President, Electrical Engineer for our South Jordan, UT office location. This role will be responsible for developing new clients and projects in the Healthcare sector and leading project teams to deliver those projects and grow those client relationships.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, 12+ years of experience in the Healthcare Industry, focusing on a combination of Engineering Management, Business Development, and Business and Operations Management, and a Professional Engineering license.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving the performance of the facility-based higher education-focused business and strategically growing market share
- Managing local client coordination and cross-selling efforts
- Representing the firm in the facility-specific higher education market through regular involvement in client and industry events and associations
- Bringing an expanded view and integrated response to complex challenges by leveraging the full suite of offerings across all end markets
- Utilizing technical and subject matter experts across regions, districts, offices, and the globe to foster new and innovative client delivery
The ideal candidate will also have experience with electrical planning, design, and construction management, including active involvement in renovation, new design, and construction projects, as well as well-defined specific knowledge of relevant engineering and electrical construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

The expected salary range for this position is $153,000 - $227,300.
