Description
We are seeking a Seasonal Distribution Associate to join our team at Sur La Table's distribution center.
As a Seasonal Distribution Associate, you will contribute to the success of Sur La Table by ensuring accurate orders, meeting set target rates per hour, and maintaining product integrity and quality standards throughout the distribution process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures and documentation in a safe and efficient manner
- Meet quality and productivity standards
- Assist in meeting daily productivity goals
- Maintain general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of work area
- Record time worked accurately
- Follow Sur La Table policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Essential Functions:
- Communicate verbally and work cooperatively with employees, customers, and vendors
- Adapt to change and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Stand and/or walk for extended periods
- Read, count, and write accurately
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
- Lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 35 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Operate general warehouse equipment (RF, Pallet Jack)
Requirements:
- Prior distribution experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems and hand-held devices preferred
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
- Basic math calculations
- Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly wage for this position is $18.15.
