As a Manager, Data Analysis at Capital One, you will drive strategy by leveraging analytical skills, build and use models to test and validate data, and work with vast amounts of data in new environments.
Responsibilities:

Day-to-day tasks:
- Mine data for crucial information
- Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements
- Work with large, complex databases
- Improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests
- Extract and analyze data to gauge product offerings
- Consult on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems
- Develop and implement strategic tests of products and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 6+ years of data analytics experience
- Master's degree with 4+ years of experience also considered
- 4+ years of professional data analysis experience
- 4+ years of programming experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in STEM
- 7+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Experience with Python, R, Spark, SQL, Tableau, and AWS services
- People management and project management experience

Salary:
- McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 per year
- Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 per year
