Description
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Strategic Lead – Resident Access & Prevention Support to lead and oversee Haringey’s Adult Social Care ‘Front Door’, ASC Early Intervention, Prevention and Communication Team.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across resident access, triage, safeguarding decision-making, complaints, customer experience, information and advice services and prevention pathways.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and continuous improvement of a modern, responsive Front Door model
- Delivering timely and proportionate access to support
- Ensuring high-quality customer experience and communication
- Effective demand management and prevention
- Robust safeguarding practice and risk management
- Financially sustainable services
- Strong partnership working across health, housing, public health and voluntary sector organisations
- Co-produced improvements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience leading Adult Social Care access, triage, Front Door or high-volume customer-facing services
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding responsibilities and statutory decision-making frameworks
- Experience of Service redesign, transformation, prevention and demand management
- A proven ability to lead through change while maintaining high performance and staff engagement
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, performance management and risk management capabilities
- Experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries with partners in health, housing and the voluntary sector
- A commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and strengths-based practice
- Experience of and ambition around co-production with residents
