Description
The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to join the B-1B Software team located in Tinker AFB, OK. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will oversee software development on agile teams, integrating and implementing solutions onto a platform. You will also oversee high-fidelity simulation and environment software and tool sets to enable rapid development, test, and deployment of high-quality software solutions for the war-fighter.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading improved capabilities to both the warfighter and maintainers
- Applying engineering knowledge to lead improvements to processes and tools
- Using analytical problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical problems
- Oversees software development on agile teams
- Experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks
Requirements:
- Active Secret U.S. Security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- 14+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, developing using any of the following languages: Ada, C++, C, C#
- 10 years minimum using Ada
- Experience working with Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Weapons software (i.e., MIL-STD-1760 or UAI) development
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with modern software development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git)
- Experience developing models and simulation

Salary: $184,450 – $249,550
