Description
We are seeking a New Product Development Advisor to support product development activities within our chilled range categories. The successful candidate will ensure that Existing Product Development (EPD) and New Product Development (NPD) processes are completed on time and in full.
Responsibilities:
- Support the concept to launch process
- Collaborate with the NPD Specialist and Manager to deliver the Site Product Development Plan
- Attend customer research listening groups and debriefs
- Provide concise category analysis using trusted data sources
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure Chilled products are of high quality
- Collaborate with technical experts to safeguard product quality
- Ensure products are profitably priced and meet margin expectations
- Prepare correctly priced samples for customers
Qualifications:
- Passion for food and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the chilled market and experience in food development
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Strong commercial judgement and drive to deliver results
