Front End Software Engineer

Salesforce is seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join the MeshMesh Engineering team. As a Front End Software Engineer, you will build breakthrough features that customers love, adopt, and use, while keeping the platform stable and scalable.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable products.
• Master our development process, culture, and code base, then improve it.
• Design and execute the work needed to ensure quality in your own code as well as other engineers' code.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, user experience experts, and performance engineers.
• Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes.
• Present your designs to internal and external groups and review the designs of others.
• Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit and functional tests to drive up code coverage.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 4+ years of proven experience in front-end engineering.
• Solid knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, and Ajax.
• Experience with ReactJS, Flux, Redux, Relay/GraphQL, React Native, Ember.js, or Node.js.
• Understand at least one object-oriented language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).
• Experience in automated testing, including unit and functional testing (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, Mocha, QUnit).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience building highly scalable web applications.
• Experience with Agile software development.
• Good knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and relational schema design.

The typical base salary range for this position is $148,500 - $223,900 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $178,900 - $246,000 annually.
