Description
We are seeking a Group Manager (People Lead) for our Uppsala unit within Contaminated Areas. As part of our successful journey, you will strengthen and develop our operations. WSP is a major environmental consultant in Sweden, offering a broad range of services including contaminated soil and water investigations.
As a Group Manager, you will split your time between leading your team members, developing the business, and being involved in customer assignments. You will ensure the group's competence supply, establish and maintain customer relationships, and participate in sales and tender activities. You will have personnel responsibility for your team members and work with the Unit Lead and other Group Managers to stimulate a trusting and idea-rich work climate.
The role involves opportunities to develop the group and our services in the local market. You will either work as an assignment manager, project leader, technical responsible, or senior consultant in current projects. The responsibility is broad, and the environment is very stimulating.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in various roles within contaminated areas
- Relevant natural science education
- Proficiency in Swedish and English
- Experience in leading and distributing tasks within a project group
