Description
We are seeking a Modular Planning Analyst to join our Space, Range and Display Team within the Supply chain function at Asda. You will play a crucial role in deploying the correct ranging decisions by store, creating clustered specific ranges that meet the needs of all our customers while supporting business strategies.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload, stakeholder communication, and expectations throughout the critical path. You will work closely with our Commercial and Range Analyst Team to build plans that align with the Supply Chain strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement range activity informed by business and trading strategies, data analysis, and customer insight
- Manage and execute activity in line with the critical path, fulfilling key milestones and escalating risks
- Manage the department category in line with target metrics, including SKU count, market data, sales, availability, inventory, and shrink/waste
- Embrace future systems and use new data and tool enhancements
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to ensure activity is landed correctly
- Implement category Midi space, Modular Planning trials, and kit developments to drive sales and efficiencies
- Understand the competition and develop innovative ideas
- Ensure excellent execution through accurate admin and continual checks
- Review all activity landed, capturing celebrations and learnings
- Run store-specific POS allocations
Requirements:
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritize projects
- Keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
- Data analytics skills to identify trends
- Ability to adapt to significant change and challenges
- Computer literate with good experience of MS Excel and PowerPoint
