Applications Engineer, Principal

We currently have an opening for a highly experienced Applications Engineer with deep expertise in Memory Interface and Interface IP. You will lead complex customer engagements for the integration, bring-up, and deployment of Memory Interface PHY IP, including HBM, DDR, and LPDDR, as well as Controller IP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Leading complex customer engagements for the integration, bring-up, and deployment of Memory Interface PHY IP
• Driving technical resolution of significant customer issues involving integration, silicon bring-up, debug, and deployment
• Serving as a key technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams
• Delivering technical presentations, training, and guidance
• Creating and improving technical documentation, collateral, and enablement materials
• Contributing expert insight to product and engineering teams
• Staying current with evolving interface and memory protocols
• Supporting customer engagements globally, including occasional travel

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of industry experience with Memory Interface IP
• Deep experience with customer-facing applications engineering, technical support, or deployment of complex IP solutions
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug, and post-silicon technical problem-solving
• Strong understanding of Controller IPs, AMBA bus interfaces, AXI, backend engineering, and ASIC design flows
• Proficiency in Linux, Verilog and/or VHDL, and relevant ASIC development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
