Description
We are seeking a Technology Manager to lead technology projects for application groups in the building savings and construction financing business.
As a Technology Manager, you will be responsible for implementing technology projects for application groups in the building savings and construction financing business in CTB and RTB projects. You will manage technology processes from design, development, and testing to production, ensuring compliance with guidelines, governance, and compliance.
Your responsibilities:
- Design technical IT solutions for the building savings and construction financing business in a heterogeneous technology environment, and analyze and plan technical optimizations
- Manage and control the implementation of complex technology projects across all project phases, from setting up the project to project completion, within the agreed budget
- Report transparently on the application or project status using standard tools and processes (DB Clarity, SDLC-Tools, Confluence, and Jira), and involve all relevant stakeholders on the specialist and IT side in the information flow
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies (e.g., Google Cloud Technology), supported by internal and external training, continuously develop yourself, and share your knowledge with your colleagues
- Manage, coach, and optimize processes as part of building cross-location agile team structures, involving offshore locations and external vendors
- Lead a team of internal employees and scale up additional resources through external vendors
Requirements:
- Completed degree in natural sciences, economics, or engineering with an IT focus, or comparable professional experience
- Long-term experience in developing complex application landscapes of a building savings bank with distributed IT systems and heterogeneous architecture, as well as good product and process knowledge in the German building savings and construction financing business
- Long-term leadership experience in IT employees of different functional profiles
- Structured and independent working style, as well as pronounced problem-solving competence
- Experience with agile methods and team structures
- Proven ability to use AI tools effectively to increase productivity, optimize processes, and solve business problems, making informed decisions and ensuring responsible and conscientious handling of data and AI results
- Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
