Description
ICON is seeking a versatile and strategic Copywriter to join its Patient Recruitment Solutions (PRS) digital team. The successful candidate will develop compelling copy for clinical trial patient recruitment campaigns, including digital video scripts, static ads, landing pages, and social media content.
Responsibilities:
- Write persuasive, patient-focused copy for digital advertising campaigns
- Collaborate with designers and video production specialists to create short-form video advertising reels
- Develop headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action that resonate with diverse patient audiences
- Work closely with creative directors, designers, video producers, and clinical subject matter experts to align messaging with trial protocols and patient insights
- Adapt tone, language, and reading level for specific demographics, health conditions, and cultural sensitivities
- Ensure all content adheres to regulatory and ethical standards
- Contribute to creative strategy sessions and help generate campaign concepts
- Edit and refine copy based on feedback from stakeholders and performance data
- Maintain consistency in voice and messaging across all campaign touchpoints
Requirements:
- 3+ years of copywriting experience specifically creating content for patient recruitment
- Demonstrated experience writing for digital video and static ad formats
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective video formats
- Strong portfolio of campaigns targeting consumers or patients
- Understanding of clinical trial protocols and the patient journey
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of digital marketing best practices
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual or multilingual copywriting experience is a plus
