Description
As a Social Worker Clinician Counselor with The Menta Group, you will provide direct educational and social services to students, as well as work with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive academic and social environments for all students.
You will employ data-based decision-making regarding multidisciplinary collaboration, functional behavior assessments, and behavioral approaches.
Responsibilities include:
- Building leadership to effectively help students succeed
- Developing positive behavioral and academic interventions
- Monitoring and reporting student progress and completing evaluations
- Consulting with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
- Some local travel to other Menta locations may be necessary at times
Qualifications:
- One of the following licenses: Social Work- LBSW, LMSW, LCSW or School Social Worker Certified through ADE, School Psychologist Certified through ADE; Counseling- LAC, LPC, LCPC, or School Counselor Certified through ADE
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong consultative and data analysis abilities
- Creative thinking to develop a wide range of interventions
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
