Description
Working as a Starbucks Barista at Target involves providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests. You will be responsible for curating handcrafted Starbucks food, managing quality and freshness, and adhering to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines.
A typical day will include:
- Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience
- Greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues
- Supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas
- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
- Delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience
- Upholding and maintaining the execution of Food & Beverage Standards
- Executing food and beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
- Maintaining an inviting dining area for guests
- Engaging with guests to meet and exceed their expectations
- Producing handcrafted beverages and food to specifications
- Following all food safety requirements
- Completing and recording all cleaning tasks
- Locating and identifying damaged, recalled, or expired items
- Ensuring accurate in-stocks and following proper perishable inventory procedures
- Executing sampling best practices
- Completing all required training requirements and certifications
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Working in a safe manner and reporting hazards
- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up
