Style Team Leader at Target

The Style Team Leader role at Target involves leading a team of consultants to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive sales growth.

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $25.00 - $27.00, with a full pay range of $25.00 - $42.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
Ensure every team member understands and consistently delivers on Target's guest experience commitments and operations
Provide feedback and hold team members accountable for great guest experience moments
Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and improve
Lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate about Apparel & Accessories
Demonstrate a safety culture and model safe behaviours
Lead the apparel backroom process, including sort, backroom organisation, and replenishment of the salesfloor
Plan and validate floorpad sets and ensure visual merchandising guides are set accurately
Establish routines to ensure fitting rooms are welcoming, clean, and safe
Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices
Model the execution of physical security processes
Support merchandise protection strategies
Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches
Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty responsibilities
Address all store emergency and compliance needs
Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
Ability to lead and hold others accountable
Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks independently
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
Effective communication skills
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
