Description
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Bupa The Arkley Care Home. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness within our home, leading a dedicated team of housekeepers, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
You will help us make health happen by:
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness within our home, working closely with the maintenance and management teams to ensure every room is well looked after
- Leading by example, vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and generally ensuring the upkeep of all communal areas and resident's bedrooms
- Supervising housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, providing training as required, and ensuring that all housekeeping and domestic items are in stock or replenished accordingly
The ideal candidate will have experience in a housekeeping role, strong communication skills, and the ability to confidently lead and motivate a team to deliver the best service. You will also be able to work independently, prioritize and delegate tasks amongst your team where necessary.
