As a Cloud Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. You will have the ability to develop, design, and deploy modular cloud-based systems as well as identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Education: BA/BS degree
- Required Experience: 6+ years
- Required Technical Skills:
- Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python, C++ or Ruby
- Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code
- Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible
- Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering
- Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance
- Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
- Strong understanding of web services, API, REST
