SELDOC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Director to shape our clinical direction and support the development of our services.
As Medical Director, you will give equal focus to clinical governance and external engagement: ensuring safe, effective care while building relationships with competitors, GP federations and other providers to raise SELDOC Groups profile, develop partnerships and create opportunities for new services.
You will bring clinical judgement to strategic decisions, helping identify opportunities, develop services and build partnerships that improve patient care and support sustainable growth. Leading the Clinical Governance and Quality team, you will ensure effective oversight and provide the Board with clear assurance on quality, performance and risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical strategy and shape our next chapter
- Develop services and partnerships with commissioners, NHS trusts, and community partners
- Support business development and provide clinical leadership for tender submissions
- Lead clinical assurance and set expectations for governance and improvement
- Develop clinical capability and lead the Clinical Governance and Quality team
Requirements:
- Qualified doctor (MB BS or equivalent) with a postgraduate qualification
- At least 5 years clinical service
- Registered on a GMC Medical Performer's List without restrictions
- Experience in urgent care and UTC management
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement methodologies
