Description
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Plumber to join our team in Hertford, NC. The successful candidate will assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water, gas, and drainage systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures (toilets, sinks, water heaters) for water, gas, and drainage systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues, clear clogs, fix leaks, and maintain high-pressure steam or hot water heating systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, building specifications, and layout drawings to determine pipe locations
- Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations, including inspecting systems for safety
- Communicate with clients, provide cost estimates, and offer professional repair solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a Class 1 (P-1) License in North Carolina within 6 months
- Customer service experience
- Ability to obtain an upgraded security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures
- Critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills
