Pharmacy Technician

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Warsaw, IN. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within the store. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, assisting them with their healthcare needs and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacy team with daily operations, including filling prescriptions, processing payments, and maintaining patient records
• Provide excellent customer service, answering patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Operate the pharmacy's workflow systems, including scanning and bagging medications
• Complete basic inventory activities, such as receiving and stocking medications
• Support immunization services, including preparing and administering vaccines
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion

Requirements:

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education, and licensure/certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some states may require a minimum age of 16 or 18
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Basic math skills and ability to understand and apply pharmacy calculations

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
