Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a AI Product Owner.

In this role you will own the GenAI product vision, strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value use cases and translating emerging GenAI capabilities into practical enterprise products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading GenAI products through the full lifecycle: discovery, use-case assessment, experimentation, prioritisation, delivery, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Defining and prioritising the GenAI backlog, balancing colleague value, model capability, user experience, technical dependencies, cost, operational resilience and risk.
  • Working closely with engineering, data, architecture and machine-learning specialists to shape requirements and deliver solutions using technologies such as large language models, prompt engineering and AI evaluation.
  • Embedding responsible GenAI controls and measurable outcomes, addressing model safety, data privacy, cybersecurity, confidentiality, data leakage, inaccurate outputs, bias, misuse and inappropriate access.

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven experience owning and delivering technology products end to end, from discovery and requirements through roadmap management, delivery, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI, including large language models, prompt engineering, AI evaluation, model safety and translating GenAI opportunities into enterprise products.
  • Demonstrable ability to work with engineering, data, architecture, machine learning, cybersecurity, risk and compliance teams to deliver secure, scalable and supportable technology solutions.
  • Experience prioritising product backlogs and making informed trade-offs across user value, technical dependencies, cost, operational resilience, security, regulatory requirements and risk.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder-management experience, including influencing senior stakeholders and leading, coaching or supporting Product Managers and analysts in a complex organisation.
