Description
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join our engineering team in Cambridge. You will primarily be working on the Controller - a web-based management platform for our product. The Controller provides security policy and software updates for the endpoint security product installed on the client PCs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the API and UI backend using Python 3, Django, and SQL
- Work on the background worker service/task queues using Celery
- Focus on front-end UI and data visualization using React, Typescript, and Vue.js
- Deploy to AWS and integrate with HP's Cloud Platform Services and other HP Products
- Write unit tests and automated installation tests
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with Python
- Understanding of React, Django, TypeScript, and SQL
- Successful experience designing scalable web services
- Ability to debug and optimize complex queries
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to have:
- Experience designing and deploying Cloud services at scale
- Experience using task queue systems like Celery
- Knowledge of web security issues and how to design to avoid them
