GovTech is the lead agency driving Singapore's Smart Nation initiatives and public sector digital transformation. As the Centre of Excellence for Infocomm Technology and Smart Systems (ICT & SS), GovTech develops the Singapore Government's capabilities in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Application Development, Smart City Technology, Digital Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.
As the Senior Product Manager in GovTech, you will assist the Project Director and work with the product team to revamp the whole of government (WOG) finance and accounting system and to drive innovative digital product throughout their life cycles, so that government agencies can successfully deliver their digital agenda.
What you will be working on
You are a hands-on Senior Product Manager and will be involved in planning and executing the full product lifecycle including the following:
- Crafting Customer Experiences for Each User Journey
- Designing, Testing, and Iterating Through Experiments
- Monitoring, Capturing, and Studying User Behaviour
- Collecting, Analyzing, and Presenting User Interest
- Analysing and Studying User Segments
- Creating Data-Driven Analytics and Insights
- Driving User Growth
- Keeping Things Organized
- Compliance and Governance
What we are looking for
- Degree in Computer Science or Infocomm Technology or Electronics Engineering or related discipline with a minimum 5 years of relevant ICT experience.
- Experienced in large scale projects involving multiple government agencies / organisational units
- Candidates with working experience in implementing SaaS ERP or finance and accounting systems with development budget exceeding $5m
- Prior working experience in product management, IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing
- Experience in modern product development/management technologies and practices such as Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product-Centric Development will be strongly preferred.
- Working directly with engineers, designers and other product managers (ideally at least 3 years).
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and influence
- A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind
- Ability to learn and apply
- Relevant certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, and Certified Scrum Master.
