Description
Welocalize is looking for a native-level Hindi speaker to join a confidential, large-scale AI and consumer technology programme for a major global technology and communications client. The role involves evaluating a pre-release AI model in Hindi and testing how the product performs on a client-supplied device.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review pre-release AI model output in Hindi and evaluate its accuracy, naturalness, appropriateness, and overall quality.
- Test the Hindi experience against the English one, confirming feature parity and checking the product handles non-Latin script, diacritics, right-to-left text, and mixed-language input correctly.
- Identify display problems and localization errors, writing up each issue clearly for developers to reproduce.
- Share your perspective as a native-level speaker on navigation, usability, and language-specific nuances.
- Work on-site in a private, secure area of the Welocalize office.
Job Requirements:
- Native-level or fully bilingual Hindi, written and spoken, with a current feel for how the language is really used day-to-day.
- Confidence with smartphones and laptops, and comfort moving between iOS and Android.
- A sharp eye for detail and fair, objective judgement when assessing quality.
- The ability to work independently, follow detailed test scripts and guidelines, and explain issues clearly in English.
- Previous experience in software or app testing, localization QA, or linguistic evaluation is a strong plus.
