Description
As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant at Morrisons in Aberystwyth, you will work closely with Pharmacists to accurately label, assemble, and dispense prescribed medicines.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Engaging compassionately with customers, guiding them on medication usage and answering queries.
- Accurately dispensing medicines, performing first accuracy checks, and supporting the safe operation of the pharmacy.
- Delivering pharmacy services such as blood pressure checks and health screenings.
- Maintaining a safe and legal working environment by following Standard Operating Procedures and data security rules.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Approved pharmacy qualifications, such as the NPA DAC.
- Registration or active progress towards registration as a practicing Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- A caring attitude with enthusiasm for delivering pharmacy services.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
