As an Oracle Database Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of USSTRATCOM, a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle database systems to ensure high performance, security, and availability.
- Design and implement database schemas, monitor database health, and perform routine backups and recovery operations to safeguard mission-critical data.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues, manage user access and permissions, and optimize queries to enhance system performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards while staying current on updates, patches, and advancements in Oracle technologies.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of related experience
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start; Cloud+, Security+, SSCP or GSEC
- Oracle database administration (installation, configuration, tuning)
- SQL and PL/SQL proficiency
- Performance monitoring and optimization
- Backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery planning
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Security management and compliance
- Patch management and staying current with Oracle updates
- Strong documentation and communication skills

The likely salary range for this position is $129,813 - $166,750.
