Description
We are seeking an Inbound Expert to join our General Merchandise team at Target.
As an Inbound Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an easy, inspiring, and friendly shopping experience. You will be responsible for receiving and processing shipments, stocking and organising merchandise, and maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional guest service, including greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Executing a detailed and efficient sorting operation to ensure accurate and timely receipt of shipments
- Stocking, organising, and storing reserve products and straightening merchandise on the sales floor
- Maintaining product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories
- Operating powered equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as necessary
- Processing defective merchandise and handling environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
- Be able to communicate effectively on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Be able to resolve guest questions and issues quickly and efficiently
- Have attention to detail and be able to follow multi-step processes
- Be able to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
