Description
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our web applications, developing and implementing automation processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and configure new development, testing, and production environments on Amazon AWS
- Deploy and monitor web applications, and implement logging and monitoring solutions
- Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform
- Utilize AI-powered tools to optimize development, operation, and incident resolution processes
- Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in administering, monitoring, and installing application servers (Tomcat/WildFly)
- Knowledge of reverse proxy solutions (Nginx, AWS ELB) and SMTP solutions (Postfix, Exim, AWS SES)
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong scripting skills in shell script (Linux), PowerShell, and/or Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Git repositories
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)
- Experience with ITIL
