Description
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos company. You will play a critical role in architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, and a strong background in Linux system administration, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure environments
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Lead container orchestration and infrastructure modernization efforts
- Troubleshoot complex production, networking, and deployment issues
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices
- Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security improvements
- Support vulnerability remediation and system hardening initiatives
- Mentor junior DevOps and engineering team members
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment workflows and operational readiness
- Support onboarding, operational documentation, and environment management
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- US Citizenship with TS/SCI and Counter-Intelligence Polygraph clearance
- Expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker Swarm)
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
- Expertise with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and visualization technologies (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack)
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production deployments
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture concepts
- Experience supporting high-availability and scalable environments
- Experience working within an Agile Scrum development team
- Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision
Pay Range: $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
