Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in London for Summer 2027. As an intern, you will own real, shipped work on the same roadmaps as full-time engineers, with mentorship from world-class talent and a culture that values ownership, speed, and truth-seeking.

Our Global Public Sector team is focused on using AI to address critical challenges facing the public sector around the world. You will work on projects such as:

• Creating custom AI applications that impact millions of citizens
• Generating high-quality training data for national LLMs
• Upskilling and advisory services to spread the impact of AI

Example projects include:

• Building reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines
• Developing evaluation infrastructure for model reliability
• Shipping agentic AI applications and tooling
• Building fraud-detection systems
• Using models to estimate task and contributor quality

Requirements:

• Graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics)
• Available for a Summer 2027 internship in London
• Product engineering experience, such as building web apps full-stack, integrating with APIs and services, and talking to customers
• Previous Computer Science/Software Engineering internship experience
• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features
• Experience building systems that process large volumes of data
• Experience with Python, Typescript, React, and/or MongoDB

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, evaluations, or agentic systems
• Open source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects
