Description
GitLab is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to partner with public sector customers, helping them adopt and expand GitLab across their organisation.
As a Professional Services Engineer at GitLab, you'll deliver services such as installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Professional Services engagements, including projects on scope and on schedule.
- Plan and execute GitLab deployments across various architectures.
- Oversee and perform migrations from multiple source systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab.
- Provide technical guidance across the GitLab feature stack.
- Partner with project managers and engagement managers to improve delivery consistency.
- Manage and deliver multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Mentor and assist other Professional Services Engineers.
- Work closely with GitLab's product and engineering teams to improve GitLab features and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Professional experience with infrastructure as code or configuration as code tools.
- Active Secrets or TS/SCI clearance.
- Occasional travel to SCIF sites as needed.
- Ability to support public sector customers with TS/SCI clearance-related requirements.
- Ability to lead technical delivery end-to-end.
