Description
We are seeking a Design Engineer - Electrical to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines.
As a Design Engineer - Electrical, you will be responsible for the Electrical design of building services and associated systems of work. Your main activities and responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining records of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures
- Liaising with WSP personnel and partners, both local and foreign affiliates, and clients
- Coordinating with other disciplines of the design team
- Controlling outputs in accordance with the design work program
- Attending meetings when required
- Carrying out assignments given by management
- Exhibiting behaviour consistent with that of a professional member of WSP
- Assisting with the training and development of subordinates
- Participating in multidisciplinary project activities
- Using electrical software and 3D modelling to develop electrical system designs
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Registration as a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is desirable
- Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Autocad, Revit MEP, PowerCad-5, AGI, and Dialux
- Familiarity with lightning, power, security, and data layout schematic design and single lines
