Description
Spire Leeds Hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Children's Nurse to join our established nursing team in the Children and Young People's department. This role is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.
The hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Deliver care to meet individuals' health and well-being needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
- Develop own knowledge and skills, and those of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with no restrictions on NMC PIN.
- Experience of working on a children's ward.
- Ability to work in teams with minimal supervision.
- Experience of working in an acute environment.
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
- A surgical background is desirable.
