Join WSP's Roads, Aviation and Civil Team as a Civil Technician, providing CAD support to engineering projects in Pasig City, Philippines.
As a Civil Technician, you will assist in setting up projects by agreeing on drawing strategies, suggesting methods for drawing production, and ensuring efficient working methods. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing general arrangement drawings from engineer's sketches and other design team member drawings
- Ensuring clarity, completeness, and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials
- Adhering to prescribed drafting standards and procedures
- Following QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines
- Collaborating with project team members on specified aspects of the project
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree in a technical course or at least three years in BS Engineering or BS Architecture
- 3-7 years of relevant civil drafting experience
- Experience working on various sized projects as CAD support and as part of a wider CAD team
- Knowledge of drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise
- Proficiency in Civil 3D an advantage
- Experience on Australian projects is preferred
