Description
You will be a Senior Staff Emulation Engineer at Synopsys, working on emulation strategies for high-speed interfaces like PCIe and DDR.
As a Senior Staff Emulation Engineer, you have spent years in ASIC verification and understand the importance of emulation in shipping complex IP on time. You are an expert in PCIe or DDR interfaces, including protocol details, verification strategies, and real-world implementation challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bridging the gap between Emulation IP capabilities and Design IP verification needs
- Defining technical requirements for Emulation IP
- Tracking and reporting key metrics on Emulation IP quality, performance, and coverage
- Staying ahead of evolving PCIe and DDR standards
- Reviewing and validating test plans for Emulation IP and Design IP
- Collaborating cross-functionally with verification, design, product, and platform teams
- Mentoring engineers on emulation strategies, verification techniques, and IP development workflows

- Proven track record leading IP product development initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in matrixed, global teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and inspire change
