Description
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our Power Electronics & Controls Electronics development team in Regensburg. You will work closely with teams in Istanbul and Warsaw on development projects in power electronics, focusing on DC-DC converters, onboard charging, and power inverters for Industrial and Automotive applications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working on circuit and schematic development, power and gate board layout, DC link design, and thermal/mechanical aspects of power electronic products
- Supporting the testing of electronic prototypes across various ongoing programs
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A PhD, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar field
- Hands-on experience with PLECS, LT Spice, and Altium
- Knowledge of grid-tied power electronics for High Voltage and Medium Voltage Operation is a plus
- Experience with Silicon Carbide and IGBT technology for high blocking voltages
- Good understanding of power electronics and related components trends
- Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
- Good English and German language skills
