Description
Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the German finance function, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial processes, developing and implementing financial strategies, and leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the German finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and partners
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with at least 8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in an international law firm or professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
- Experience with financial systems and technology, including automation and AI applications
