Job Summary nCino is looking for a Principal Product Manager to help set direction for our Commercial Banking product line. This is a role for someone who sees the larger vision for where the product needs to go, not just the next feature, and who understands how decisions ripple across engineering, design, sales, and customer success before committing to a direction.
Responsibilities:
- Ideate and own the roadmap, identifying next highest priority problems to solve
- Validate the roadmap with customers, taking output from junior product team members' research to advance planning
- Represent Product vision and VOC for your feature/feature set in planning sessions with Design and Architecture/Eng
- Be involved in key milestones, major stakeholder in sprint reviews and weekly demos
- Lead customer-facing Early Adopter conversations, develop strategic launch plan with cross-functional team
- Help junior product team members interpret success metrics, work with customer awareness
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of related experience/proficiency
- Experience in presenting to multiple layers of a company, including executives
- Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies
- Experience being involved in the sales cycle and conducting customer interviews
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to plan and deliver products in an agile environment
- Demonstrable ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements
