Description
Diageo is seeking a Corporate Relations Director for Thailand. The successful candidate will lead the Corporate Relations function in Thailand, working closely with the leadership team and other stakeholders to shape the company's policy and reputational environment.
The Corporate Relations Director will be responsible for:
- Navigating and shaping the external policy and regulatory environment to protect and enable Diageo's long-term growth in Thailand
- Leading proactive engagement with government, regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to influence policy outcomes, mitigate business risks, and unlock commercial opportunities
- Delivering internal and external corporate communications, including Diageo's cultural transformation agenda and media relations
- Developing and implementing a society agenda consistent with Diageo's Spirit of Progress strategy, focusing on promoting positive and responsible drinking
- Building and maintaining trusted stakeholder relationships with government, trade associations, and other industry bodies
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate relations or a relevant field, ideally in a highly regulated sector for a multinational organization
- Strong leadership experience, including partnering with senior business leaders and leading small agile teams
- Ability to operate in a matrix structure and implement global strategies at a local market level
- Strong capabilities and background in public policy, government relations, and/or strategic communications
